The interview of today was with James Pauley. He came up to me as I was about to leave so we got to chit-chat a little bit. I asked him if he did any art work himself and he said he used to back in highschool. His drawings were based off real tangible objects. He would draw whatever caught his eye. However now with all the school work as a chemical engineering major he hasn’t really had time to draw. So I asked him “why did you take this class?” His response was mostly for GE credits but he decided to take art 110 rather than the other GE courses that would satisfy the requirement because he enjoys seeing the unique and different styles of art. I did notice he had a tattoo on his right tricep area but did not get the chance to ask him the meaning behind it. Maybe next time I’ll be able to ask him about it.
